Privacy Policy
How Nepali Digital Compass handles browser storage, analytics, advertising, official data requests, and optional AI messages.
Effective date: September 1, 2026
What this policy covers
This policy explains data handling on nepalidigitalcompass.com. Public tools do not require an account, and most calculator, converter, typing, and text operations run in your browser.
Browser storage and offline use
The site may store language, theme, tool preferences, learning progress, cached public market data, and offline application files on your device using local storage, Cache Storage, and a service worker. You can remove this data through your browser settings.
Analytics
Google Analytics 4 helps measure page views and privacy-safe interactions such as which tool was opened, its navigation source, and language or theme changes. Typed search text, calculator values, converted text, and form contents are not intentionally included in custom Analytics events. Google may process device, browser, approximate location, and usage information under its own policies.
Advertising and consent
Google AdSense may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver and measure ads after the site is approved. A Google-certified consent message is configured for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland. Your available choices may include consent, do not consent, and managing options.
Official data and external services
Weather, exchange rates, market rates, telecom information, and similar features may request data from named public or commercial sources, sometimes through this site's server. Hosting and source providers may receive standard request information such as IP address, browser details, requested URL, and time.
Optional AI assistance
If the AI assistant is enabled and you submit a message, that message may be sent through the configured same-origin proxy to the selected AI provider. Do not submit passwords, payment information, government identifiers, medical records, or other sensitive personal data.
Children
The learning section is designed for shared educational use and does not require a child profile. The site does not knowingly ask children to provide personal information.
Your choices
You can use browser privacy controls, clear site storage, block cookies, change the consent selection when available, or disable JavaScript. Some features or advertising may then be unavailable.
Third-party policies and contact
External websites have their own policies. For Google data practices, see Google's Privacy Policy. Questions about this site can be directed through the maintainer's public contact website.
